• Establishment of the Honorary Consulate of Ukraine for Rheinland-Pfalz in Mainz.
• Declaration of intent for a cooperation between the Dragomanov University of Kiev and the Johannnes Gutenberg University Mainz.
• Declaration of intent for a cooperation between the FH Mainz and the State University of Engineering and Design in Kiev.
• Declaration of Intent for a city partnership between the communities Ukrainka and Nierstein.
